Important Information for OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and
OS X 10.9 Mavericks users !

When you try to open my applications "QT Sync" and "Folder Splitter" on Mountain Lion, you will see a warning, that these applications "are not signed by a recognized distributor and may damage your computer".
Apple requires all developers to electronically "sign" their applications. Because "QT Sync" and "Folder Splitter" are a few years old, they are not signed properly and so your Mac will give you this warning.

Please be assured, that these applications are not "malware" or "spyware" and you can continue using them as you did before.

To force your Mac to open "QT Sync" and/or "Folder Splitter", go to your applications folder, right-click the app's icon and choose "Open". (You will only have to do this once!)
